Deadly Kiss- She Rises Again

I kept my eyes closed as the ominous man pulled me through what felt like being warped through swirling tunnels of time, but there was no time. Not that I could feel.

I was petrified, yet secure at the same time. The man held me close to his chest as we swiftly warped through the swirling tunnels. I held on tight for I was afraid that I was going to fall into some black abyss if I let go.

I felt this overbearing need to just cry. I held back tears what felt like lifetimes ago… before I died.

Suddenly the swirling tunnels stopped and we landed onto the same exact spot I was before, but minus my body and the blade that ended my life. I will never forget the face of my stone-cold killer.

Here we are dear. We are right where we need to be.

His mouth never moved when he spoke, but his eyes and face would make movements equivalent to the tone of the words he expressed. He did not blink at all, for he didn’t have eye lids.

Are you alright?

He put his ice cold hand on my shoulder. It felt cold to the touch, yet my heart felt warmth from the gesture. I nodded softly. I tried to take a step forward to look at the spot I was murdered and I fell to my knees. My body fell like an old rag doll! I had absolutely no control of my body’s movements at all. I was disconnected from myself, from everyone, everything, the world… my world. Gone. Forever. Taken by the hands of a killer who I thought was the love of my life. It was one big lie; a lie that I so desperately wanted to be true.

My emotions flooded over me like the overbearing current of a river breaking way through a fragile, worn down dam. Hot tears rolled down my cheeks. My chest and throat tightened up. I began to sob; it wasn’t just part of my body that sobbed, it was every fiber of my being that sobbed. I was robbed of my body and of my life. There was absolutely nothing I could do about it.

The ominous man pulled me up onto my knees and sat down with me on the blood soaked concrete.

Don’t cry dear. It’s going to be okay. Your pain is over and the healing will finally begin. Justice will soon be in your hands.

“How? How is everything going to be okay? I’m dead and it’s all over! How can a dead person get justice? It’s impossible!”

I cried even harder. I realized that I would never be able to see any of my family or friends again. I felt robbed, hopeless, helpless, and stuck… stuck in this darkness. Instead of arguing back or trying to use more words to comfort or assure me, he just sat there with me. He held me closer to his icy cold body.

After a few moments, I started to slow down. A few minutes after, I completely stopped crying. When I was still alive, this would never have happened. I used to cry until I fell asleep on my couch or on my bed at home. My fiance, or should I say, stone-cold killer, didn’t have any patience. He always focused on a way to fix whatever made me upset or for me to ‘get over it’. I hated it. I didn’t want to share anything with him because I was afraid I would immediately get judged or hurt.

You have quite a beautiful voice. My heart breaks for you. Many moons ago I felt the same exact way that you did.

“What happened? How did you die?”

The Ominous man glanced down at the crimson colored cement, and then back up at me.

I was once betrayed like you. Someone who I thought I could trust stabbed me in the back, literally. It was an argument over what my once niave spirit worried about, which was money and time. So we met up at a park to talk things out like adults. The conversation wasn’t going anywhere and I thought it was best that it was time for me to go home. I stood up from the bench and turned my back only to be dragged into the trees under the hill below. I felt an excruciating pain in the middle of my spine. And then I felt it again, and again, and again through my head, neck, and lower spine. Everything faded to red and then black. I woke up what felt like moments later in pure blackness. I got up and managed to crawl up the hill with whatever strength I had left. A passerby in that park found me and called for help. By the time help came, it was too late. I was gone.

“Oh my god, that’s awful! I’m so sorry! I can’t believe someone did that to you.”

I had a wife, two children, a home, an ever changing career. It was yanked away from me just like how that filthy creature took your life. I was angry, heartbroken, confused, and I felt that I was forever stuck on this plane. Time went by and I wasted away. The one who I truly believed was the love of my life turned to another not long after I died. My children grew up and they moved on. They were very very little when I passed. I got tired of watching myself waste away. I had to seek justice out for myself, and I did just that!

“And then what happened?”

Only time will tell my dear.

He helped me up and I felt myself gain a little bit more control of my body. I was able to stand up on my own and in fact, I felt lighter. I felt physically, emotionally, and spiritually lighter. It was like as if a weight was taken off my body. I haven’t felt anything like that in years.

Oh, and you can call me Gerald, or Brandy. Whatever works for you dear.

For once in my existence, I felt as though that whatever facing me was not going to be insurmountable. Maybe, I can stop this situation from getting any worse. Maybe I can stop my killer and show everyone the kind of person this monster really is. Maybe I can save others from getting killed too!

Maybe Brandy can help me. I need to know why he is here though. Why is he helping me? Is he a guardian angel? Is he death? Is he just an ordinary ghost or phantom? What is he? Who is he?

To be continued…

Nameless Dreamer- The Development of Wings

cda7c1a4afeef88035e06a7cf345b6ca--water-nymphs-desktop-wallpapers

As the girl ran after the indigo orb, a sharp pain jabbed her shoulders and back, causing her to fall to her knees. Ow! What the hell? She jumped back up to find that there was nothing behind her. She felt her shoulders for any kind of bleeding or open gashes. What the? I know this is a dream, but that really really hurt. Thankfully I’m not bleeding or anything like that. “Follow me dear indigo girl! There is no time to waste!” The orb yelled at her from a distance.

“What did you just call me? I’m a what?” The orb was inches away from her face once again.

“I say you are an indigo girl.” The orb gently tapped her nose and let out a soft giggle. This gave the girl a warm tingly sensation that went from her feet up through the crown of her head. She had never felt anything like this before, but she certainly wanted to feel it again.

“I still don’t know what that means spirit orb light thingy.”

“You will soon enough. Follow me!” The orb darted off once again into the distance. Suddenly a small dot appeared within the girl’s sight. The farther she ran, the bigger the dot appeared. As she got closer to the dot, the dot began to grow into the form of an old wooden door. It’s hinges, knobs, and locks were made of pure gold and the wood smelled of freshly cut oak, despite its age. The orb stopped in the girl’s tracks as soon as she was a few yards away from it. “Take this!” A large golden key came from the orb and dropped onto the ground in front of the girl’s feet. She kneeled down to grab the key, then suddenly that sharp jabbing pain came back. The pain was nearly unbearable. She couldn’t get up from the surface of the water and curled into a fetal position. The pain shot through her whole body this time. “You must get up!”

“I-I can’t! It hur-rts too much!” She began to cry as the pain permated through her body.

“Oh I almost forgot. Here, let me give you something to help you with those growing pains.” The orb tapped on the girl’s back and suddenly the pain gone. “Shhhh don’t you cry dear one. This should help.”

“Thank you. I really needed that.” The girl got up with the key and used one of her hands to feel the back of her shoulders. There were two distinct lumps stood a few inches out of her shoulders. What the hell is this???

“Those growing pains will come and go dear girl. As time goes on it will be easier to handle them. They will stop eventually. That I can assure you.”

“Why am I having these in the first place?”

“You will find out more as soon as you open this door.” The orb started to float towards the door knob. “A whole new world awaits you behind this door.”

This is one crazy dream. She thought to herself.

“Who said that this was a dream?”

The girl began to walk towards the door of gold and ancient oak. She gently put the key in the keyhole. The key began to glow as it entered the keyhole. And with that, her journey beyond the cosmos began.

Falling Gravestones

headstones_notratched_sm_6

First and foremost, I am fake being of existance.

Also, I never truly was alive.

Life is just one big joke.

Life is something that never had existed, and probably never will.

I’ve been dead for so long, I forgot what it means to be alive.

Nothing reminds me of the so called life I once lived.

Go ask the ghosts who roam this field, they can’t remember either.

Ghosts around these parts say that these graves fall for those who have been dead for over a century.

Realistically, I suppose that would be true, except for one small thing….

And my reasoning to this matter is that doesn’t count the marauders who steal, tag, play games, or hold rituals around our graves.

Very few and between have come out of this boneyard alive.

Everyone who comes in will never, ever come out.

See, I know because that is what happened to me when I visited my dead daughter long, long ago…

Grave Dancer (Companion)

52c625b271915ca417c7a3063bcccfad

Many moons ago, a young woman and her pet wandered on the path of lost and found. Lost souls wandered on these paths during troubled times, hoping to find the answers they are looking for. These passerbys would see the woman and her pet together hand and hand. However, every passerby noticed something off about the woman and the dog. Both beings glowed a translucent blue and seemed to be walking on air. Their feet touched the ground, but only just. Some have claimed to see orbs or perhaps wings on the young girl and her pet.

Whenever a passerby would see them, the pair would be spotted dancing, waltzing, or even skipping. Other times she would pass by, smiling or even say hello and her companion would either bark twice, or walk up to the passerby, expecting to be petted.

The young woman was eventually called the Grave Dancer and her pet the companion. She wasn’t called that for the sake of dancing around gravestones; but for the sake that she would radiate her infinite light during grave times for the lost passerbys.

It was said that the Grave Dancer and her companion would only show when a passerby is under great distress. If the passerbys considered taking their own lives, she would be there. If the passerbys had a loved one who was in critical condition or perhaps on their death bed, she would be there. If the passerbys were lost, she would be there to help guide them in the right direction.

No one really knows where the Grave Dancer and her companion came from, or why she does what she does. Some claim that maybe she’s an earth angel, or some sort of spirit guide. Regardless, she has saved many lives, lifted spirits of the broken, and helped sooth the mourning with her dance.

Today she can still be spotted dancing with her companion from time to time. If you feel lost, defeated, heartbroken, or even wanting to give up, follow the road. The Grave Dancer and her companion will help you find the way.
