Awestruck

At first sight, the meaning of life transformed into a deeper meaning.

My eyes took in a sight that is forever ingrained into my memory.

I don’t have the words to describe the feeling except for one, awestruck.

It took one look, a single moment that changed my overall being.

That one single moment was enough for the orchestra in my heart to play with the strings to my soul.

My heartstrings were pulled tighter and tighter as we touched.

Every moment I close my eyes my vision is engulfed by you.

I become awestruck by every moment we are together.

I’ll never forget that night that we were one.

Nothing in the world mattered more than that single moment.

The moment the rain touched our skin softly as we embraced each other is something I’ll never forget.

I can’t get enough of that wholesome feeling I felt that night.

It’s so intoxicating, the feeling will never escape my memory.

You will never escape my memory.

It’s ours forever.

We are love.

No Need to Justify

There is no need to explain the weather.

I did not create the snow.

There is no need to explain the seasons.

I am not the creator of eternal beauty.

There is no need to explain rain, winds, and snow.

I can not explain it’s happenings.

There is no need to explain why things happen.

I do not hold all control.

There is no need to explain life.

I do not hold all of the answers.

There is no need for me to explain my state of being.

It just is as I find my peace within the snow.

I won’t justify what I love.

For what I love is infinite beyond you can I.

The cold cycle ends.

The spring lotus flourishes.

New spring blooms within.

Goodbye icicles. 

Sharp ice dissolves from the sun.

Lily petals bloom.

Here comes the new sun.

Smiles grow as the new sun glows.

The new sun is zen.

What’s the song of spring?

Growth, change, flourish, and rebirth. 

This makes my heart glow.
