A couple weeks ago while I was in the hospital (I was inpatient for 5 days), I had some extremely vivid dreams. The one I’m about to describe is one of them.
One night I dreamt that I was outside, looking up at the sky and saw a storm brewing ahead of me. I wasn’t alone though, I was with several people I had met while being in the hospital. I won’t give any names, but there was at least 5-6 people with me while this monster storm was brewing. The sky was pink and purple, like a cluster of stars or a galaxy in the universe. Depsite it’s colors, the clouds kept growing and getting darker by the minute.
We all came out from the hospital, but it was not the same hospital where I was admitted. We were downstairs, going out a glass door that lead to the outside. We were in a parking lot that was connected to many grassy areas lined by chain link fences.
We all started to walk along a chain link fence that was lined by grass on one side, and trees on the other. Then something strange happened as I followed along the chain link fence. Sometimes it was aligned like a cube in some spots near the hospital. It cut in ninety degree angles and was kind of like a maze to navigate.
Then out of nowhere, large black pools of water appeared in front of us. The pools of water were formed due to the rain, despite the fact that the rain was not that heavy at all. In these pools of water were large amounts of monstrous fish and many football fish. They kept swimming to the surface like as if they were sizing us up for a hot meal. It didn’t matter how big or little the fish were, they were still extremely intimidating.
We walked over the pools of water with the best of our ability, despite how deep and intimidating they seemed. With each one we passed by the pools of fish continued to get deeper and deeper. The look on my face and the faces of those around me seemed very panicked by the deep, fish infested waters. I pushed to keep going despite how big they were.
Soon we reached to the end of the chain link fences and made it out of the storm. I remember trying to look out for my fiance, but he would appear then disappear not too long thereafter. I felt panicked knowing that I just couldn’t find him. The storm stopped and all that was showing was a pink sky. Despite how everything looked, it was later on in the evening, past sundown to be exact. I looked out from the shelter we were in to see the damage of the storm, but my vision wasn’t entirely clear. Then I woke up in a sweat. This dream was so intense for me it felt almost real. There’s a few more dreams I had relating to the hospital, but they will be in posts that are separate from this one.
